The IB Global Politics IA is commonly known as the Engagement Project. Internal Assessment is a term many students still use when talking about this part of the course.
In the current Global Politics course, both SL and HL students complete an Engagement Project. The project allows students to explore a political issue through experiential learning. Research adds to this experience and helps develop an understanding of the issue and the different perspectives around it. The project ends with a written report.
The project is more than a written assignment.
There are several parts to bring together. This includes the political issue, the engagement, the research, and the reflection that follows the experience.

How Our Tutor Helps You Develop Your Engagement Project Report
Your written report brings the project together.
For the current course, the Engagement Project report is limited to 2,000 words. The assessment includes areas such as the justification for the project, methodology, links with course content, engagement activities, analysis and synthesis, evaluation, reflection and communication.
For HL students, there is an additional requirement.
You also formulate a separate recommendation that addresses the political issue explored in your report. The recommendation can be up to 400 words and is separate from the 2,000-word report.
Bringing everything together within these limits can be difficult.
